January was busy preparing for an upcoming exhibit, painting with friends, online classes and the opportunity to "Paint the Reef" in the annual plein air event at Ocean Reef, Florida.
March is Women's History Month and I'll be celebrating women artists along with Liz Wall, Kathleen Newman and Judy Skulborstad at the McCord Gallery in Palos Park. Each of us will be featuring an inspirational female artist. Join us on March 1st from 6-8pm to toast the women in your lives that have "Made their Mark" and enjoy complimentary wine and munchies.
Join me in the studio (sold out) or on Zoom (openings available) for the spring session of pastel classes on Wednesdays in March and April. We will be discussing a few new topics along with reviewing mark making, value and shape. There's always a new way to discover the versatility of pastels! Join the fun and click the link below for more information and to register.
